We had a great dinner there, the service was GREAT, and the food was even better. If you are a fan of japanese food, you should really give it a try.

Expensive but definatly well worth it. This is the best Sushi you'll find in DC. Top notch atmosphere as well. Excellent place to impress a date!

This place came highly recommended for the sushi, but companions found the noodles and the other items good as well. I really loved it. Spectacularly fresh, and really dedicated wait staff. Not cheap, at all, but worth it.

have tasted have been great. I highly recommend the Peking Duck, which is masterfully carved in front of the customer's table by a professional, wearing latex surgical gloves (Attention - you will not find gloves used in other restaurants, as I was outraged to find at the Peking Gourmet on Rte 7, earlier this year). Service at Meiwah is reasonably good (I don't like waiters hovering at my table and sucking up to me during the meal - I prefer them to

Sushi, need I say more? This is in the top 5 for sushi in the DC area. If you have time swing by and try the dinner special, the best way to find out what's good is to see what the chef likes, and it's here.

I'm not sure about the price. We did the tasting menu (about $40 per person). Be careful with your sake: it cost us almost as much as the food (and we didn't drink too much). The food was fantastic! Small, but not too small, tastes. 10 courses. Wonderful sushi, a delicately prepared (and fried) soft-shell crab, succulent beef. Do yourself a favor and splurge on this!

Excellent sushi and sashimi. There is no worry here about the quality of the fish, it is always of the best quality. Served imported sake.
